After discovering the Minicards concept during a visit to Europe, Founder and President Philip Black purchased the Canadian franchise rights and incorporated Minicards Canada in September, 2005. Since that time, the company has installed displays and carousels in over 190 locations across the Greater Toronto Area. At any one time, there are over half a million Minicards on display in the GTA alone.

Displays can be found in hotels, on university, college and ESL campuses, as well as in Toronto City Hall, various museums and restaurants, and in community centres.

Future development plans include expansion into the Niagara Falls and Vancouver areas.

Minicards Canada is a member in good standing of Tourism Toronto, the Ontario Restaurant Hotel and Motel Association and the Canadian Federation of Independent Business.
